Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of State Wildlife Grants, which funded the native grassland restoration at Panola Mountain State Park. Contribute further to this restoration by helping to eradicate invasive privet. Meet at Nature Center. Dress for the outdoors. Join our partner REI, Inc. in volunteering on our site working on mountain bike and hiking trails, cleaning up the lakeshore, and working on erosion sites as we make the park better for our visitors. Help us celebrate "Save My State Parks Day" by volunteering to pressure washing our camping facilities and painting our arrows on our asphalt. Our "Seminole Friends Group" will be coordinators for this event. Visitors will be exempt from paying the daily park pass fee! Friends of TGSP will participate in the annual "Save The Parks Day" by acting as Park Ambassadors. Help us out by manning the gift shop and front desk at the Interpretive Center; be parking lot greeters welcoming our guests; and help out at the Friends booth to promote this organization at Tallulah Gorge. 706-754-7981.
